Again, the Clique returns but has even more interesting twists: boys.
This book was certainly better than the last one, seeing as the first book was all about the petty cat fights about girls. This sequel has an added interest, which is boys, parties, and the foreshadowing of Alicia's downfall. There is more of a backbone to this sequel.

If you thought "The Clique" was awesome, then you'll love this book! Massie decides to through OCD's first boy/girl halloween party, but her parents are making her throw it with Claire Lyons! OCD also has a competition to see who can create the best uniform for the school. Massie and Claire come up with a solution in the end. The ending of the book was not the best, but was still an OK finish.

Best friends for never leaves off from the last book where Claire and Massie become sorta/kinda friends. After a dress code scandal that involves pretty much the whole school and is led by the pretty committee minus Claire principal Burns announces that a dress code will have to be put into place immediately! The characters in this book are spiteful, manipulative, and shallow. But even worse than that, I feel sorry for them, and sorry for any girl who feels like she has to be fake in order to have friends. How terrible that people won't like them for who they really are.. and how awful that must feel to think that one wrong move and your best friend is now your worst enemy. This is one of the best clique books ever! I loved this one! There are just soo many more problems which makes this book even more fun to read! I know how a girl feels and i can tell that any girl would love this book. It is even more dramatic than the 1st book! Massie's parents said she could have a big boy girl party but there is a twist she will have to throw the big party with Claire!
