Product Description:
“Kimberly Ford is a gift to every woman who accidentally left her sex life in the maternity ward. Hump is brainy and earthy and downright inspiring.”—Kelly Corrigan, author of The Middle Place
Cheerfully honest, sometimes startling—and just a bit dirty—HUMP is a smart, subversive look behind real-life parental bedroom doors
Hump puts the lie to the conventional wisdom that once your children are born, your sex life dies. Hump is the chronicle of how a wide variety of couples have reclaimed their former, more sexy selves even amid the chaos of households teeming with young children. Hump is organized into thought-providing sections, including chapters such as: --“Back in the Saddle” (first-time-after-childbirth sex) --“I touch myself” (self—ahem—explanatory) --“Snip!” (vasectomies) --“Snap!” (what happens when the condom breaks)
By turns poetic and informative, Hump will inspire women to reclaim their bodies for themselves and their husbands, and to make sex a priority in their own lives no matter how many scuffed sneakers they have to kick out of the way to make it to bed.

Rating: - Thank you Kimberly!
As a mom who has generally lost track of my sex life, I needed a call back to the intimacy and goodness that the sexual connection with my partner provides. This book inspired that. The stories were funny, easy to relate to, and deliver some excellent details. Not so much the very raunchy stuff, but the imperfect and real details that helped me feel like I was still hot enough to dig out one or two sexy items from the dusty back corner of my underwear drawer and put them on. Amazing!
Rating: - Honest, Inspiring and hilarious!
Hump in an honest account of how to find the time and energy for sex during the craziness of parenting young children. It is inspiring and hilarious (I often found myself laughing out loud)! After reading Hump you will want to send a copy to all of your friends who are struggling through sleep deprivation, temper tantrums and potty training. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
Rating: - Honest, Inspiring, Intelligent and Funny
Kimberley Ford's HUMP shares true tales of real moms and dads who are caught up in the fray of life with kids but still want to nurture and excite themselves and their sex lives. We listen in voyeuristically to their desires, pitfalls, questions and discoveries. THis is an honest open and yes sometimes eye-popping peer into the dark chambers of married sexuality. Funny, intellectual, kind-hearted and open, HUMP cajoles and guides us where we might not have gone on our own.
Rating: - Somewhat disappointed
I chose this book due to a rave review in a mommy blog I read and the five star reviews here on Amazon, and had high hopes for some "creative" ways to improve our monogamous, post-baby sex life. I am, apparently, the only disappointed reader so far.
In the introduction, Kimberly (I can't seem to call her Mrs. Ford after having read so much about her personal life) uses the word F**K more times than I have seen in print, ever. There is a chapter on vibrators, and the clear opinion ... Read More
Rating: - What more could a parent want?
In "Hump" Kimberly Ford has a given us readers a truly winning book: smart, funny, sexy, eminently readable--and downright practical. Reading her extraordinary prose is like sitting down with your very smart, very cool, very knowledgeable best friend and getting some really excellent advice about sex, parenting, and being a better partner. Ford's book is intimate and worldly, and absolutely refreshing in its frank approach to the subject matter and its point of view. Finally, we have a parenting ... Read More
