Editorial Review:
Product Description: Shane Galanter is ready to put down roots after years of searching. But is he making the right choice? Or is there a woman somewhere who remembers a love that hasn’t faded with time? Lauren Gibbs is a successful international war correspondent who gave up on happily-ever-after years ago—when it was ripped away from her. So why is life so empty? Emily Anderson is a college freshman raised by her grandparents, about to take her first internship as a journalist. But before she can move ahead, she discovers a love story whose tragic ending came with her birth. As a result, she is drawn to look back and search out the mother she’s never met, and the father she never knew. With hallmark tenderness and power, Karen Kingsbury weaves a tapestry of life, loss, love, faith—and the miracle of resurrection.

Rating: - Even Now by Karen Kingsbury
A friend loaned me the book Ever After by Karen Kinsbury and I saw it was a sequel to Even Now, which I ordered from Amazon so I could read them in order. These are the best books I've read in a very long time!!! I had never read anything by this author before but I just borrowed the "R" series from a friend and I have to admit I have a new favorite author. If you've never read anything by Karen Kingsbury I encourage you to start now.

I will admit I was engaged in the story for about the 1st half, then the implausabilities became too difficult to bear. Some were really laughable, like how in the world an 18 year old ... Read More

Rating: - Wow...
There is not one emotion that is not tugged at in this book. I love it because it involves me in book. I can't stop wondering what else is going to happen, how will this be fixed....I like being pulled into books and not just be a spectator! I like to cheer for the good guys, cry for the main characters and boo the antagonist! The author stirred feelings and thoughts I didn't think about before. It is set in a time when to be unwed and pregnant just wasn't a good idea. Mistakes were made that involved ... Read More
