Average Rating:
Rating: - Don't bump the Glump
This author is hilarious for his silly and humorous storytelling.
I had heard of this book and decided to purchase it and donate it to a non-profit organization for their fundraiser. Sharing books for me either in reading to my children and grandchildren or giving them away as gifts is something that brings me joy.
Rating: - A Classic!
The original publication was a big hit with our kids. The re-publication was a pleasant surprise - in time for the next generation. Great if you like Siverstein's goofy humor.
Rating: - books
I ordered four books, Don't Bump the Glump, by Shel Silverstein. They arrived in about three days from ordering and the price was wonderful.
Rating: - Shel Silverstein is a star
This is his first work. The pictures and rhymes are good, but not as fantastic as his other work. Only get this if you are interested in collecting all his work, otherwise some of his other titles are better.
Rating: - A Book of Monsters
My daughter's favorite poet is Shel Silverstein. Since she now has a two-year-old son, I thought this would be the perfect book for them to share. I was wrong. Although my daughter is happy to have it, my grandson doesn't like monsters at all. My guess is that he will be able to appreciate it when he is several years older.
