Average Rating:
Rating: - Daughter's Favorite
This is my 3-year-old-daughter's favorite book. She loves howling with Bittle and the animals at the end. A fun family favorite. :-)
Rating: - Great book for people who love their pets and are having a baby...
Such a cute book for pet owners who are having a baby. My son loves this book. Dog and cat were some of his first words. He loves his animals.
Rating: - Falling in love is not always easy
but Nigel and Julia manage to fall for the new baby in the house, who is just "a little bit of a thing," and is dubbed "Bittle." This is a very funny book in ways that adults will appreciate, from the relative intelligences of Nigel the cat and Julia the dog to Julia's observation that the small clothes that the lady brings home before the baby is born are not for her. A must buy picture book.
Rating: - Great cute and funny book!
I took this book from our library, for the little boys I babysit (1 1/2 and 2 years old). They like this book, and I really like it too. The story is good, and it's also very funny (to me anyway). I love the line Julia the dog says about the toilet "I love that toilet!" The illustrations are very cute. One of the boys loves any book with illustrations of babies, so he really likes the page where we see Bittle the baby, wrapped in a blanket. I recommend this book.
Rating: - Beautiful story and engaging illustrations
This book is a sweet story of a cat and dog who get a baby sister. The story is sweet and sure to be a favorite but the illustrations are truly what make this book special. Wonderful colors and clever details keep even my 11 month old engaged for the whole book. A must have for every library--young and old.
