Well, despite only 3 stars, I still liked this book. Now the other review gives an accurate description of what happens in the book, so I won't elaborate farther than to say that most of the drama, (O.J. and Ms. Phipps argument) all occurs in the first couple of chapters, and the rest is Lily on her own. This book was definately a book for teens and younger and is mainly good for reading during hot summer days when there isn't much to do while off from school. I loved this book. Although it only talked about a little more than a week, there seemed to have a lot to think of.
This book is about a girl called Lily and her father O.J. Her father was invited to make some sea paintings for Ms. Phipps. Unfortunately, after he had done some real paintings, Ms. Phipps didn't like them, but liked a so-called dunb-and-ugly painting.
