JFK was not the youngest president. Theodore Roosevelt was (42).
JFK was the youngest elected president. TR became president after McKinley was assassinated. The authors should have known this basic bit of factual history.

John F. Kenndy was Americas Youngest President. John had 8 brothers and sisters. When John was in his teens, he loved to play all kinds of sports. For example, he played football, but did not make the team. In one game of football, John hurt his back very bad and had to have many surgeries. Later in life, John became very interested in politics and wanted to be a part of whatever might happen to America, so, he finally joined the Navy.
