Product Description:
'I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words' shows young children how easy it is to learn to read - even for a dog. The words in red are easily identified as the 'taught' words which cover basic concepts like colours and opposites - and of course, counting to 100. 'Bright and Early' books help even the youngest child get ready to read. Simple stories and basic concepts are humorously presented in rhythm and rhyme. Pictures that fully explain the text help even babies make the important connection between word and meaning. It's never too early to find out that 'Learning to read is fun'.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Don't waste your money on this book
Vendor shipped promptly, but the book was not as I expected. A third grader could have written this book and if you have a third greader who wants a dog book, then maybe this one if for you.. It offers noting related to training your dog.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Better than Dr. Seuss
My two sons and I love this book! Along with 'Are You My Mother?', 'The Best Nest', 'Go, Dog, Go!', and 'Snow', it is a favorite from my childhood that my sons now read (we had to buy a new one, as my original copy finally fell apart.) For children who are learning to read, these books make much more sense than some of the Dr. Seuss books which can be filled with nonsense words. 'I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words' is a special favorite, as it helped my 5-year-old learn many new sight words AND count ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simply marvelous!
This is a classic. Funny lines, great rhymes and rhythm, engaging pictures, and an appealing main character. If a parent loves to read it as much as a toddler loves to hear it, that's the sign of a great book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A classic
This was the first book I could read all the way through when I was in Kindergarten. It's still a great read.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun, funny book...!
This is a great kid's book -- one of the best "fake Dr. Seuss books" in the Beginner's Book series. The story is fast paced and funny, and the words roll right off the page. Way cooler than "Go, Dog. Go!" Recommended!
